IBPS RRBs Syllabus and Exam Pattern – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conduct a Online Exam for the recruitment of Group-“A” – Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistant be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.

Officers Scale I Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

Examination for the Officers Scale I will be conducted in three tier phase. For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.

Phases:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Main Exam
  3. Interview

1. Pre Exam Structure:

Pre exam will be conducted online at IBPS examination centers across India. Questions of the exams are objective questions and there will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. 0.25 of the marks assigned to question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.

2. Main Exam Structure:

3. Interview:

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.

Officers Scale II Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

Examination for the Officers Scale II will be conducted in two tier phase. For the post of Officers Scale II (Specialist Cadre, General Banking Officer), candidates who will qualify in Single level Examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.

Phases:

  1. Single level exam
  2. Interview

Single Level Exam will be conducted online at IBPS examination centers across India.
